What type of room can I book at Masonic Hotel?+
We offer Deluxe King, Queen, Deluxe Triple, Deluxe Twin, King, Standard Twin, Standard King and Superior King rooms. Rooms range from 12 m² to 16 m², and several can be made up with either one large bed or two singles.
What are the check-in and check-out times?+
Check-in is from 12:00 to 19:00 and check-out is from 05:00 to 10:00. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance, and contact us directly if you expect to arrive after 17:00.
Does Masonic Hotel have a restaurant on site?+
Yes. Wayfinders Cafe & Eatery is on site and open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, and there is also a bar and a coffee house on the property.
Is breakfast served?+
Breakfast is served at Wayfinders Cafe & Eatery on site, and it is one of the things guests mention most warmly about their stay.
Is there parking?+
There is no parking available at the property. Street parking can usually be found nearby in central Waitara.
What is there to do at the hotel?+
The hotel has a bar and gaming lounge with live music, broadcast live sport, a pool table, darts, karaoke and a casino, and a golf course is within 2 km.
How far is the hotel from the centre of Waitara?+
The hotel is in the centre of Waitara, on McLean Street, with shops and takeaways within a few steps of the entrance.
Is the hotel suitable for families?+
Yes. Children of all ages are welcome and kids' meals are available at the restaurant at an additional charge. Please note that cribs and extra beds are not available, and children aged 12 and above are charged as adults.
Is there Wi-Fi, and is it free?+
Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the hotel and is free of charge.
Are pets allowed?+
Pets are not allowed at the property.
Is there a swimming pool or spa?+
The hotel does not have a swimming pool or a spa. Taranaki's beaches are a short drive away, with Bell Block Beach 9 km from the hotel.
Is there an airport shuttle?+
We do not operate an airport shuttle. New Plymouth Airport is about 7 km away and taxis and rental cars are readily available.
